Simple White Christmas Tree Decorations

This year’s all about neutral, natural, and white Christmas tree decorations. I wanted the white to feel bright, happy, clean, and fresh. This neutral Christmas decor goes with any style home aesthetic. I’m dreaming of a white Christmas with a slight natural Scandinavian vibe.

Christmas Tree Garland

White Ball Garland

Since the main theme is simple white Christmas tree decorations, I wanted to start with this white ball garland. It’s pretty lightweight and the smaller size makes it feel a little more subtle than the larger fuzzy white garland I already had. The spaces in between are a great contrast from the wood beaded garland.

Wood Bead Garland

To give the tree a more natural vibe I also purchased this natural wood bead garland. It is heavier than the felt ball garland but I love the variation in size. The lighter wood tone also goes really well with the white decoration. It still feels light and airy. This is the perfect addition for a slight Scandinavian Christmas vibe.

Ornaments and Paper

For ornaments, I went through my stash and used pieces that were light or white. Some had small details or other colors but mostly stuck to the lighter color pallette. I also had a few that fit being natural simple white Christmas decorations that had straw and softer textures.

When looking at the wrapping paper, I still wanted to keep with the white vibe and didn’t want large blocks of colors. I found two papers that I liked at HomeGoods. One is a very traditional tree paper with white, greens, and gold. The other is a fun cheery paper of different breeds of dogs skiing. This has some pastel colors but having them lighter and in small amounts doesn’t feel obtrusive. I also chose not to do any red ribbon and stuck to white, green, and light gold ribbons to keep in theme and a softer more natural feel.
