This Woodland Birthday Party was for the perfect first birthday party theme for my beautiful niece Delphine. I adore the decorations, they are so sweet and would a great baby shower theme too. Make Ahead Brunch Menu

Previously, I posted the decorations from the Galentine’s Day brunch I hosted to celebrate lady friendships. Today I want to share with you the easy make ahead menu to make things a little more stress free. In case you missed it, Galentine’s Day is February 13th according to Leslie Knope from the show Parks and Recs to celebrate the ladies in our lives. We celebrated a little late but there is never a bad time to celebrate friends or have brunch. There is also a great TedTalk on the importance of lady friendships between Jane Fona and Lily Tomlin that is just too funny.

This brunch menu was pretty simple and easy to make in advance so you can enjoy time with your guests. I like to make some items from scratch and buying others to make hosting easy. Here is the brunch menu breakdown:

For any of you that have watched Parks and Recs, you may recall the episode about Galentine’s Day being February 13th to celebrate the ladies in your life. Here’s a clip of the show where Leslie describes what Galentine’s Day is all about.

Galentine’s day is the 13th which fell on a Monday this year, so I decided to host a late Galentine’s day Sunday Brunch with a neutral palette of creams and light pinks.
