New Years Eve Decorations

New Years Eve is here and I’m very excited to share with you a few things I did to make our house a little more festive for tonight that were pretty easy.

The first was decorating our dining room ceiling with with these LED string lights from Amazon 200 LED Indoor Fairy Lights w/ Remote & Timer on 69ft Clear String (8 Modes, Dimmable, Low Voltage Plug, Warm White) and using command hooks to hold them up. Then I just used good old scotch tape to hold up my plastic Christmas ornaments and these paper lanterns from Amazon Fun Express – Gold Lanterns, 12″ Balloon Lanterns (Includes Wire) (1-Pack of 6).

Second was this photo backdrop where I used three rolls of wrapping paper that are taped to the wall at the top and are actually still on the roll at the bottom so I can roll it up and reuse them. Then I added the battery string lights, a printed sign and this balloon from Amazon Fecedy® Aluminum film Champagne Bottle and Goblet Hydrogen Balloons For Party Decoration. A little tape and paper go a long way.

Next I put a little bar area on a table I have in my living room. I like to keep food and drinks in a separate area so it doesn’t get congested in one place, especially since our dining room isn’t that big. Pull out your prettiest glasses, a champagne cocktail, and everything anyone would need to help themselves so you don’t have to worry. For this Blackberry Thyme Prosecco cocktail printable and directions head my previous post. I love using big buckets for cans and bottles but make sure you have a platter or something underneath if its indoors to catch the condensation and not damage your floors.

Lastly, table decorations are simple and use party favors displayed on the table for easy access. I have quite a few sequin table cloths that I bought on Amazon in he past and what better time to use them then New Years Eve. If you want something easy and inexpensive festive wrapping paper is always my go to.

Happy New Year!!!
