Deer and Tree Holiday Table Inspiration

Merry Christmas! In case you were looking for some last minute inspiration to jazz up your table I thought I would share this tablescape with you. I mentioned in my last post about the DIY cornstarch dough ornaments I made with a cookie cutter and here they are on the table as place cards, laid on everyone napkins and are adorable keepsakes to take home.

Along with these deer ornaments I kept a neutral gold and creams color scheme using a few simple things I already had. The antler candle holders and deer figurines were purchased at homegoods as holiday decor with tea lights, a simple white tablecloth and napkins, a sale mesh roll that I used as a runner and dollar store chargers. The best part though that you can make in a pinch if you want to add some festive flair inexpensively are the pretty paper trees! I used some printer paper and various left over wrapping paper to give them variety as well as having varied heights. Here’s the video I followed to make them from HandiMania and they are really easy! If you have an older kid or two they could probably help, and make a great last minute addition to your holiday decor where you made need a little something extra. Happy Holidays!
